  I was told over the phone my cat needed to been seen by emergency vet. I have been waiting three hours. Apparently there is NO EMERGENCY VET working. I’m waiting to be squeezed in some time?? Wish I had been told this 4 hours ago when I made the phone call. My poor cat would be much more comfortable at home and me making an appointment. Awful service.

  The OVH has the most kind and informative staff! It's also a large and clean clinic with the sweetest resident cat (hi Ella!). Our experience there went smoothly and my cat was handled with excellent and kind care. I highly recommend this clinic and their emergency services. Great place :)

  We've been to the VCA Ottawa Vet Hospital on numerous occasions recently, and had a positive experience each time. The most recent was Saturday, November 4 when my nine year old boxer re-injured her torn cruciate ligament. She saw Dr. Guay who was not only great with her, but provided excellent care. She had experienced an unrelated bladder infection and associated stone previously and he very kindly was able to check to see if the stone was still present - saving me a lot of stress and money. While waiting to see Dr. Guay, I observed the staff interacting with other patients and it warmed my heart how compassionate they were with each and every one. This also has been the case each time I've been there. It takes special people to do what they do every day, seeing the things they do. Thank you for your care for my little girl - I appreciate it!
