- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My husband and I have been dealing with Smith Petrie Carr & Scott for well over 16 years nows. We have no plans to leave them...ever. The insurance brokers there are very knowledgeable, compassionate, and understanding and they take the time for you. I totalled my brand new van last year and I was put at ease by my broker that everything would be fine. The complete process was handled very effectively and professional and quickly. It was not long before I was in another new van. Every October it's time for renewal and yesterday I had the pleasure of speaking with Shelley Sirois, my account manager, who I will be working with going forward. Shelley was fantastic and very thorough. She took the time to explain everything to me and showed me the areas that she thought I might be interested in adding to my plan (and she was right) and she showed me ways that my premium could be reduced if I took out this or that (and she was right). I am happy to be a long term customer with Smith Petrie Carr & Scott because they treat their customers with dignity and respect. And a big thank you goes out to Shelley for making my day yesterday! My broker, Joy Watson, recently recommended a change in insurance companies to provide better condo insurance coverage. She was extremely thorough in walking me through the coverage and comparing it to my old policy.
