  A friend had gone to Dr. Halpin for braces and he did a wonderful job on her smile -- it was an easy decision to see him when I was looking to have some work done. Dr. Halpin put my braces on last April using a rapid system and changes to my teeth were almost immediate. Every time he changes the wires, he takes considerable care and even spends time bracing a tooth that broke right before I had the braces put on so that it doesn’t look like I am missing a tooth. I have also gone to him for dental work, including having a post put in (implant to follow). He even phoned the next day to make sure I wasn’t in pain and was starting to heal. Dr. Halpin is very skilled as a dentist and as an orthodontist and I would recommend him to anyone looking to have either type of work done. He takes the time to find out the issue and offers the best solution. His hygienist is equally talented – I had previously been going to the same place for over 20 years and the cleanings I received here were far superior. I am looking forward to having my braces off in August and will certainly keep coming back to Smiles on Sparks in the future for all other dental services.

  The staff is really nice and friendly towards customers. The place is very clean and well kept. Dr. Halpin himself is an orthodontist with great expertise. He goes beyond simply straightening teeth by taking possible aesthetic improvements in to consideration. You'll end up with the perfect smile. :)

  I do not like going to the dentist. Never have. I've often been guilt tripped about not taking enough care of my teeth and that always contributes to the anxiety in anticipating an appointment. I've had extremely painful tooth aches the past 3 days and this morning it reached a point where I couldn't focus or do anything else. I called the dentist accross the street from my office and although they were fully booked and closed at 1230, they took me on for an emergency appointment at noon. They made me feel welcomed, and really took care of me better than I've ever been before. I was asked if the lights were too bright or if the music was too loud, making sure I was absolutely comfortable. At no point did I feel judged or was I bereated at all. They were all very understanding and clearly loved their jobs. In the space of 30 minutes, I has x-rays done and analysed and diagnosed with my wisdom tooth causing the pain. Within the next 30 minutes, the tooth was out and I was being stitched up. Words cannot express how grateful and appreciative I am for Dr.Halpin and his team who all stayed late in order to rid me of my pain. Not to mention how much cheaper that expected the whole thing cost me. Again, thank you so much. 10/10 would recommend.
