  Ten years ago, I was pregnant and didn't know what to expect from the doctor and only through talking about it with other moms afterwards, and eventually filing a complaint with the College of Physicians and Surgeons, have I learned that his treatment of me was sexual abuse. After holding a hearing, the College failed to take disciplinary action against him, so I feel compelled to write this review to prevent other women from trusting this man. I don't think I should be embarrassed because he is the one who abused me. I thought I needed to see him to ensure a healthy pregnancy but at 23 years old I could also tell there was something wrong with this man. I complained about it to my family, but I didn't switch doctors. I didn't want to be rude, I thought to change doctors I would have to go back to my family doctor, to whom I had initially expressed that I would prefer a female doctor. She told me not to worry and sent me there anyway. I didn't want to cause a big scene, I just wanted to survive the pregnancy and move on with my life. Since then, I have discussed my experience with enough other moms to know that mine was different, and I had probably been molested by this doctor. I first heard of the College of Physicians and Surgeons from a friend around 2015, so almost 3 years ago I made the complaint. There is a motion on public record, I strongly suggest you request from the College of Physicians and Surgeons and use your own logical mind to discern whose statements are more credible. If you are going to see him, or if you have seen him, you should be aware he is suppose to have a chaperone in the room with him during all pelvic exams. This has not always been the case. Although he says he would have offered one 100% of the time, I was not offered one at my appointments. There was one time a nurse was in the room and I was more confused than ever. Maybe if she had explained that she was suppose to be there as a chaperone 100% of the time I would have asked why she was not there for the other exams! His whole practice as well as the College of Physicians and Surgeons are grossly incompetent. I have spoken with several other women I know, 4 who have seen Beshara and all recall unusual to disturbing accounts. I don't know who is giving him 5 stars on anything, probably he hired PR, like that bs citizen writer who only spoke to his paid lawyer. Only one person I know out of many said she liked him. Check him out on RateMyMd, you will see mostly negative reviews of a doctor who used his position to abuse me and apparently many other women in different ways. I don't know why he choose to abuse me, I would really like to know what in his mind made him think he could get away with doing that to me. Until he takes responsibilities for the consequences of his actions I will never know. One thing's for sure, this is a man who would never see a woman's vagina in his life if he hadn't become a gynecologist. I've heard great things about many other Doctors, so I would recommend anyone but him.
